Right at the mouth of the port, a strategic location. Good ice creams and strong Italian coffee. Service is a bit chaotic.

Nice cake and coffee place where do locals also spend time. I asked around for the best ice cream on the island and all fingers pointed to this place. The coffee is really good, squized fresh fruit juices too and the cakes and the ice cream are wonderful. This is the famous mushroom cake birth place. In addition you get to feel the vibe of the central square.

We were recommended to visit particularly this location while in Mali Lošinj and try their ice-cream with figs and type of cottage cheese. We were amazed and will visit a few more times before we need to leave the island. Options of flavors they offer like pistachios and chocolate-orange (especially with home-made candied orange bits) are top notch. Coffee is also excellent. Kids were happy, we were happy. Next time we are taking a box of Guinness World Record holder local sweet called Krokant.

Moby Dick for sure has the best ice cream in whole of Losinj (island). But also Cres and Krk island. Probably the best in the country. The flavors like fig and ricotta and rum and krokant are not only original snd bold but also fantastic taste-wise. Quantity of ice cream, when one buys a scoop is phenomenal and I have to add that coffee with milk is also very good. Of course being such a great place to visit, makes is popular which means that seating place is not always available and in the evening one needs to wait in a line to get an ice cream. But for what they offer, it pays out. I am looking forward to new flavors and maybe a savory ice cream will be offered soon :)

Highly recommending, the sweets and cocktails from Moby Dick, we ate the mushroom : “gljiva” it was perfect, tasty, good portions, i wouldnt change anything, i can also recommend the tiramisu as it’s something new, you assemble the tiramisu yourself, which is a novelty to me.
